Since this was filmed Trixie now DJs, wrote another book, created a motel and filmed a Discovery channel show about it, and sits on a judging panel for a drag singing show. What an amazing person!

You cannot groom someone to be queer or find comfort in drag. He grew up in a town of 500 people isolated away from everything queer and still something inside drew him to drag. He was abused for showing queer tendency. But you can’t hide someones true nature forever, thankfully. The world would be much less pink and sparkly without Trixie. Im so glad she found her voice and confidence against all odds.

This encapsulates why i as a straight man feel so empowered and comfortable in queer circles. Being queer is not a choice, but coming out and living as your true self is. Queer people are forced by circumstance to define themselves in spite of societal expectations and bigotry. Its an act of self respect that we all can and should learn from; regardless of who we are

I love that Isabel is doing something fun rather then being in a war torn country and you can totally tell she's enjoying it. Also who doesn't love Trixie! She's so good. This was a good episode.

Seeing Trixie talk about how she came up with her character as a play on the ideology of white, blonde, feminine presenting American beauty standards is just incredible. I love her so much. "Being a woman is fucking fierce" YES!

Trixie isn’t only big in America . She’s one of the biggest queens in THE WORLD. Winner of drag race , charting musician, touring her music / comedy, multiple collaborative YouTube shows, successful cosmetics company, judge on queen of the universe, full time youtuber. Has a custom doll , . Co owns An iconic gay bar , a Motel named after her that’s also its own show. All while promoting her less known friends and always lifting the people around her up. Trixie is the next RuPaul imo. She does more than any other queen and deserves all the flowers. And then some. I’d probably cry if I met trixie . She’s become such a comfort for me especially since the panini started 🫠
