His Gene Seed Came Back Clean — So What IS Tyberos the Red Wake?
Citizen Of The Imperium

Tyberos the Red Wake allowed his gene seed to be tested. It came back clean. He's reportedly undergoing the Rubicon Primaris — a procedure no Primarch would ever need. So if he's not a lost Primarch... what is he? The Carcharodons Astra operate from a region of space the Imperium calls the Outer Dark — beyond the reach of the Astronomican, beyond the range of Imperial supply lines, beyond the administrative territory of any recognized Sector Governor. They surface to conduct the Red Tithe: arriving at worlds unannounced, conscripting populations, bleeding whatever they need from whoever they find, then disappearing back into the void. Their Chapter Master holds the title Shade Lord. He commands the elite 1st Company — the Red Brethren — from the battle barge Nicor. Nicor is the Old English word for a water monster. The chapter calls itself the Space Sharks. These aren't accident names.

The missing Primarch was banished along with his Legion by the Emperor to petrol the outter dark, at some point he did his thing with a human female or maybe a sister of battle and Tyberos was the offspring.
Over the thousands of years the Primarch chose pass on the leadership of the chapter or maybe was gravely wounded / killed.
Tyberos being the biological son of a Primarch would explain he’s extreme size and strength compared to any other Space Marine, and once he was fully converted into a Marine himself his extreme features would become even move evident.
That's my theory.
