4:23 I love how Scrapman asks about a switch right as he walks over one

@lolglolblol 10 months ago

Yeah, I agree with your guys' stance on multi-layered spots
Most map creators severely misunderstand how to use them, there's no point if you just put an obvious switch in there and even repurposing the closing animation doesn't have a point, since by now seekers are conditioned to check that, especially if the workshop description announces that these spots exist.
The only way to do them right is to actually put in the effort of decorating most, if not all of your hiding spots and then hiding a secondary switch in that decoration for only a fraction of your spots

kan straight up helping kosmo and scrapman having an adventure is what multiplayer monday is all about

@Voron_Aggrav 10 months ago

12:58 yeah, Scrapman wasn't having the best time on this map, first he walks over the switch he was looking for, and then fails to notice the ledge you could drop down on, That said Kosmo definitely gave some questionable hints,

@Kimtroverted 10 months ago

I don't know if you know, but the guy who made the giant museum and giant Harry Potter inspired map you recently did triple-videos on just uploaded a new hide and seek map! Looks really epic! :D

Kan is flexing how he can control how long these videos are.

So parkour isn't good for multiplayer in scrapmechanic I bet someone is now gonna make a parkour map just for KAN to get angry at

@traugdor 9 months ago

I get being curious about the hiding spots, but when you block the seeker from moving, KOSMO, you're adding to his time. maybe...idk, take a step back and let the seeker explore the spot fully before jumping in?

Less than a minute into the video and already had these two all-time incredible quotes:
ScrapMan: "Just because I like pasta, it doesn't mean I don't like fish."
Kan: "I only eat four different things total."

This map was good!
In terms of theming, and switch difficulty, and other areas - this was a particularly fun one to watch.
Some maps just have an overabundance of random hole-in-the-floor spots, so this was refreshing. Not only were spots build into walls and obstacles, but they hid spots behind actual doors, so the architecture of the overarching map included rooms which were entirely hiding spots.
Also, despite the simplicity of some of the multi-layered spots, others proved to be perfectly hidden. The adventure to reach Scrap's final spot, compared to kAN's disappointment when he found a single locker that was a dead-end spot? Perfect balance.

kosmo's first few hints kinda useless, probably as useless as "I'm on the map"

@KirbyKingEddy 10 months ago

I always appreciate when kAN is silent for a few seconds so we can participate in hint time

@oscaropossum3920 10 months ago

Kosmo won but I think scrap played the more impressive game

ScrapMan saying “every good climbing gyn should have hiding spots” reminded me of something. When I was in high school, my younger brother had a birthday party at a small indoor climbing gym and while it wasn’t exactly a hiding spot, there’s an area on top of the overhang wall that has a sofa.
