sorry but “being inside a volcano is far less interesting than a pool of water or an open dessert” is wild 😭

31:39 "being inside a volcano is a lot less interesting than a desert" are we being serious rn

Picking Jabu Jabu over the typically dogged on water temple is so valid. Completely agree

@LibraGaymer 1 year ago

your reasonings for temple of the ocean king (while valid) are actually all the reasons i love it! i think it was such a neat concept to have players revisit a temple and find new ways to play, and personally i love the stress the timer adds. i’ll agree that visually and atmospherically it’s not super unique but in the long line of phantom hourglass haters i’m a defender 😤

The worst part of the 4 Divine Beasts is that you can't return to them after finishing them.

My main problem with TOTK dungeons is that they all rely on finding 5 of the things to unlock where the challenge is just navigating the maze of the dungeon to get to them. I wish each of the dungeons had different goals to achieve within them.

"I hate how the boss fights are just dodge their attacks and hit their weak point."
This is a troll video, isn't it?

"Being inside a volcano is a lot less interesting than a desert"
Are you being serious right now?? 😭

@AgentHomer 1 year ago

who writes a sentence like „being in a volcano is less exciting than a reservoir“ and thinks „yeah, ill publish this“?

@joserodriguez-qx2ie 1 year ago

It's called 'Thieves Town' not Gargoyle Palace in ALTTP. And mine in that game is easily Ice Palace. Pengators and the ice mechanics are not fun

@lukesmith9144 1 year ago

Hates the ocean king because of time limit. Laughs in Majoras mask*

"Great Bay gives you no clear path forward." Lol you didn't notice the pipes with arrows on them??

@SuperCatNick 1 year ago

I feel like the Temple of the Ocean King is WAY over hated. Like I wouldn't say it's a great dungeon but it's also not nearly as bad as people say it is.

@athorem 1 year ago

I never thought any of the dungeons were bad until we started getting to BotW/TotK where you get stuff like the water temple which is just a large open space with a handful of switches to activate

11:00 I love Jabu-jabu's belly. It's such a unique concept. I actually quite like the aesthetic. It's organic yet weirdly ethereal? Otherworldly? It almost has a futuristic alien feel with the moving corridors, pools of acid, and membrane barriers (near the end).

I beat Zelda 2 in like 1989 when I was 9. That game is hard, but I love it all.

@kayleighbrown459 1 year ago

I do agree that starting Windwaker with a mechanic that isn't really used at ANY other part is a bit strange on a gameplay perspective, but thematically I can NOT get over the fact that you start your adventure hiding un a barrel, having to sneak around for fear of being caught by enemy's and end it by stabbing ganondorf right thought his friggin HEAD!
Like....damn if that isn't a well done character ark. And for such a nothing character like Link.

I think I'm one of about four people that actually likes the Temples of the Ocean King and enjoyed revisiting it multiple times and getting faster with each run. That said, PH is one of my favourite Zelda games and one of the first ones I actually finished, so there might be some rose=tinted glasses lying around.

I’m very happy people are coming around to hating on Jabu Jabu in recent years. I will say though I personally am a Great Bay Temple supporter

@ArielAela7205 1 year ago

I agree on palace of twilight.... it's also the only time in the game we visit the actual twilight Realm that isn't merged with Hyrule, and i honestly wish they put more of a world there to explore we never get to return to it
