Hello. Today we're going planting around the garden.
Grab a cuppa and join me in the garden for a busy but relaxing planting day.

To start with we'll check out the variety of plants to find a home for today and then we'll head off in search of the best location for them.

First up is sighting the 3 Maples. Afternoon shade can still be a rare thing in our garden even though we have trees. They just need to get bigger.

fitting in Artichokes, grasses and Hebes is a breeze as I try to dodge Zephyranthes and fill in a new path area.

We also get stuck into a couple of landscape transformations, the first is to use up old logs and build a raised planter to showcase the striking colours of Japanese blood grass.
Next I tackle the removal of a massive, overgrown Carex virgata to make way for the continuation of Camellias.
Then an easy finish as I plant an Irish Moss at the base of our Japanese bell.
