The Gators beat 2 Heisman Trophy QB's to win 2 National Championships, shut down the #1 scoring offense in their last 2 National Championships, and was rated #2 in all three of their National Championship wins.  They held FSU to 20 points, Ohio State to 14 points (7 from offense only), and Oklahoma to 14 points (41 points under their average).   GO GATORS!

I watched this game with my fanatic great grandfather in his house in Ocala, which looked like a Gators museum, as a child. Made me a Gator and a football fan that day.

As a Buckeye fan, I love turning the game off right after Ted Ginn runs the kickoff back and act like nothing else happened after that lol

Ted Ginn Jr went untouched on the opening kickoff for TD but got tackled by his OWN teammate and got knocked out of the game 😭

On the opening kickoff that Ohio State scored, there was holding that wasn't called. Ohio State #8 grabbed Florida #1 jersey as Ginn ran by.

This is my favorite OSU game from the 2006 season!!

I was in a walmart in chipley florida. I saw a UF fan, wearing a tim tebow jersey. And then i heard an actual adult man scream, "OH!! IO". And then he said, "any other day we beat yall in 2006, yall got lucky".

That was when i learned that it was possible for a fan base to be dumber than the miami fan base.

9:48 -  Florida's number 1 player was tackled and quickly released. That was a not block, was holding.
