This time, I traveled to Arita Town in Saga Prefecture, the town where porcelain was first produced in Japan.

When you think of Arita, you think of Arita ware.
Many people have probably heard of it at least once.
Every year during Golden Week, the Arita Pottery Fair is held, attracting many visitors from all over the country.

From shopping spots where you can get great deals on Arita ware to historic kilns,
there's even a pottery shrine and a European-style palace.

I thoroughly enjoyed exploring the charms of Arita, the "town of pottery," while touring unique spots!
