one of my absolute favorite homeworthy tours!! i love everything about this apartment--it's warm and cozy without being overly dark or stuffy, mixes precious/vintage items with practical and modern pieces, uses textures and patterns in an interesting way, and is maximalist without being overdone. also, that kitchen wallpaper and bedroom paint color will definitely be occupying my mind for the forseeable future. and cai has such a delightful personality!

This apartment is stunning. I'm so glad the owner left the 1920's charm to everything. So many places change everything to a boring modern look and there are so few places with life and character anymore

That Curtain Wall is genius! Old bulidings have such tiny closets and this is such a gorgeous solution to add storage.

Those living room lamps are really the star of the show, only second to the lady who owns them. I really love her unpretentious and down to earth personality. It perfectly matches her high/low design style. This one is going in my saved lists of favorite houses.

I love this tour!! I love the wall unit and how you added two of the shelves being the other portion of the sectional to make it look like one big wrap around unit. The room dividers as wall panels I think is genius. My first impression was that it was some kind of custom wall unit situation and it does look so glamourous/speakeasy, casual yet dressy. I don’t know what to say other than wow! My second favourite is your kitchen bar with daybed!! My moto is, why sit when you can lounge! 😊 You have been so creative with a relatively small space and I’m inspired!! Thank you for sharing! You also seem like such a great down to earth, fun person! bravo!!

Wow, the wallpaper in the kitchen is from the amazing Florence Broadhurst an Australian textile designer from the 60s and 70s. Who ran her silk screening, fabric/wallpaper workshop a bit like Andy Warhol......was found murdered in 1977. A book was written and put to film in a docu drama in the 2000s. Never imagined I would see, artwork of Uluru rock of central Australia, on wallpaper in a Hollywood Art Deco apartment!
Ironically Florence lived a larger than life, Hollywood style.........
