I know it's like the SimCity 4 challenge, but I just really like this idea. Something satisfying about it. Hope you enjoy!

"There has been some pushback on the mayor's plan to install a slip and slide from the old folks home into the graveyard, followed by a conspicuously covered conveyor belt feeding into the neighboring crematorium... but the efficency is undeniable." - this towns news station

My dude made a Japanese city: Booming economy, a lot of tsunamis, and depressed population

The Graveyard adjacent to the Crematorium adjacent to the old folks home is the most dystopian thing I've seen in a while. Props.

I like how the constant background dread of eternal flooding kept any attempt of typical ambiguousamphibian philosophical ponderation at bay until the ocean was filled lol

I like how the conclusion is that public transit is what truly makes us happy

"Most of the residents didn't finish elementary school, or never attended in the first place"
"There was an explosion at the nuclear power plant"
I wonder if these factors were connected in some way

Mayor: "Good news everyone, our town is expanding!"
Citizens who have just bought new furniture for the 58th time: "Oh god, please not again..."

"there are perks to uneducated people" is such a villainous line.

As someone who'd played a lot of this game, when I saw the title I thought "that'll be hard, considering you need about 7'000 people to even unlock terraforming" but then I remembered mods

Ah, yes, the Anti-Netherlands, where you tell the ocean, "go somewhere else" by filling it in instead of making giant barriers below sea level.

"it was brutal, but also logistical" is as hilarious as it is terrifying

Came for the game play, stayed for the existential dread.

Nuclear in real life: We're the safest and most efficient power source currently available!
Nuclear in City skylines: mmm yes, explosions.

You can always count on an amphibian video going from comedic to existentially horrific and thought provoking in about 5 seconds, never stop with these videos please for the love of god.
