Even in his 14th season, Reggie was still throwing offensive linemen around with 1 arm. What a legend

Barry Sanders is the best running back in NFL history I don’t care what anyone else says that’s the truth

Hearing Mike Patrick on the call for Sunday Night Football produces the absolute best nostalgia for of growing up in the 90s. Fresh popcorn, cold Pepsi can with the new "wide mouth" opening, not a single care or responsibility in the world. My only obligation is to take in primetime NFL football on this perfect Sunday evening. Life is good.

Barry Sanders scored his final career TD in this game

There were three stadiums Brett Favre always struggled in: Texas Stadium, the Metrodome, and the Silverdome.

I am happy the Lions won that game and props to that crowd there were times where I couldn't even hear the commentary because they were so loud

When the Packers lions rivalry was actually good

If the Lions secondaries can catch, Farve would've had 6 or 7 Ints in this game. My lord.

How frustrating it really must have been to try to contain Barry Sanders and Brett Farve was doing what Farve does..throw INTs

Not to mention that these two were the reigning MVPs.

I like how the commentators would even call out the refs back then

I like this idea of showing previous matchups, of current matchups. Amazing work man!

ESPN sought to work their first full season of NFL games in 1998 with Mike Patrick, Joe Theissman, and Paul Maguire

This is a amazing rivalry

@4:24 that was a hell of a PA by the Lions there, had me, the cameraman and the Packers defense all bamboozled there. I had to watch it a few times to fully appreciate it.

Sunday Night Football on ESPN and Mike Patrick’s voice. Doesn’t get any better than that!

Was at that game, 11 years old. The roof almost popped off when Barry scored! Silverdome was as loud as they come… and of course watched a bloody fight in the 3rd deck. Good times
