at this point, when Ben submits coins, PCGS starts from Details and works up from there

It's nice to see a group of Seated Quarters.

Is that a cricket in your office?

The mint has flattened out most of the coins, so the dime has become the top beauty.

Nice mixture today Ben. You were all over the board on this one. There are a few I’m checking out. Thanks for sharing. Everyone have a great rest of your day.

I find it HILARIOUS that these grading companies give out a grade of AG Damaged. No kidding! AG is heavily damaged! Why add insult to injury. Just give it a straight grade ya clowns!

Jiminy cricket! They've been watching this whole time, finally caved and gave you your split grade 😊

Neat coins. Thanks, Ben!

Yes, it looks like the 1958 station wagon that I learned to drive in. The power steering fluid was leaking out of the reservoir and our mechanic told us to break a raw egg and pour it into the reservoir to stop the leak. True story.

Thank you, Ben!

I love the older worn out coins. They were used as intended. If they could talk, I'd listen. We all could learn something different.
I'm in the process of putting together what I want, coins wise, already graded, in an empty NGC slab box. Nothing to fancy, because I'm not fancy. So far I've obtained a graded Morgan, Peace, Silver Ike, 1950 D full step Jefferson nickel, a Benji, a 64 Kennedy, a Mercury and Roosevelt silver dime.

Oh, dang, that wood-grain '08-S looks SO much better than the other . . .

Great video and coins Ben

The look on that second 1909 Indian is from the coin being kept in leather for many years. Could have been someone's pocket piece they kept in their wallet

I just LOVE LOVE LOVE ❤️❤️❤️ these old types coins!
You have them here,
and I have them tooo!
But no Roosevelt's!
Especially certified!
I'll put these in a roll of dimes and keep them there for the next 100 years before someone opens them up 👍

31-S is actually a full on key date

Nice toning on the dime.

Ben, at least part of the reason for the woodgrain on the 1908 and 1909 SF Minted cents is the newness of the SF Mint to striking copper. These were the first cents struck there and the learning curve for planchet strip and metal mixing was in its infancy. Most can tell a SF Mint 1908 just from looking at the obverse . . .that lighter and woodgrained color is a perfect giveaway.
