【Biography】
Born in 1968.
In 1992, he was drafted 8th overall by the Chiba Lotte Marines and joined the team.
He became the third (at the time) professional baseball player to graduate from the University of Tokyo.
After leaving the team, he lived in the United States for 7 years from 1994.
He obtained a Master's degree (MBA) from Columbia University.
Associate Professor at Edogawa University since 2002 (Professor from 2006 to 2020).
Also served concurrently as a director of the Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks from 2005 to 2014.
Currently:
PhD (Sports Science)
Director of the University Sports Association (UNIVAS), President of the Japan Sports Management Interpreters Association
Professor at Obirin University
