I think we’re forgetting one key detail: the trailblazer is going to get a path change as well, likely finality. There’s no way they make them NOT fit as a generalized finality character for all archetypes, so either they’re going against the grain and somehow gonna make finality trailblazer a dps, or they become a busted sustain. Otherwise how will they fit in more than one archetype and actually be relevant?

If they make them focused on building gauge, I mean that’s cool but we don’t see anything about specific “finality damage” so far so if they’re going to be useful for finality at all in more than one specific archetype, sustain or main dps is all it could be, because another generalized buffer would just likely make Robinetto or Mblade better, as there’s also no way they’re going to let finality blazer power creep those two so fast by being a better buffer or debuffer.

The only other possibility is that they get a mechanic similar to Himeko nova and Cyrene that gives different buffs for different archetypes. And we know finality blazer will be particularly important going by the story so far so it’s possible their finality form does have more going on for it than the past Paths they’ve walked. Now I’m curious.

People are happy because they think it's better than Elation and remembrance since they don't are monopath and almost everyone has a character to the teams they already had, BUT if you like a character from a team archetype you don't have that's when the problem appears, either you pull reruns and have the second best team or you can't build the team. Like even if I love Kafka SP design but I have 0 DoT characters... Maybe she could rerun with one of them so then I have 2 but even then I should have the 3 main characters of the archetype to have the best team available (that changes if Kafka for some reason is a sustain for DoT). And at that point it is more cost investment since for 1 character I would have to build and spent jades on 2 or 3 characters at least, maybe an Eidolon and their LC's since I don't have any of them and with free ones I can't build a solid team that can clear endgame in 3 patches. So maybe it could be better and easier to choose who to invest, but at the same time it will be a problem if I want someone from an archetype I don't have the units and since every finality character will bring reruns of the archetype it will be harder to rerun a full archetype. Maybe they can solve this by updating the Golden companion exchange, or a free character selector for any path or maybe free characters from finality.

Finally i was waiting for gameplay for finality

It is not mono because Hoyo realized how unpopular that is and do not want people actually quitting

If this is true then it would be the complete opposite of elation and remembrance, and you would actually not want multiple Finality in the same team but 1 Finality in each team to fill its specific gauge unless there are 2 Finality that share the same gauge like the Breaker kit.

Please let the finality not being a momo path be true. If these are upgrades to current teams that's great for me as my Firefly is a base copy with my supports being higher cost.
