Wish this existed 20 years ago, trying to learn the advanced game mechanics on GameFAQ guides was like reading Greek

It's 2024 now and we need a follow up video on this please

You should make a video of MvC2 vertical assists and why they're meta. Specifically, commando vs cyclops, and why psylocke is useful for magneto. I think a lot of people see these assists everywhere but aren't really sure about the differences between one and another.

There's nothing more satisfying than finding an otg combo, turning safe falls on, and finding out it's real.

Here in 2024 and this is a really nice vid. Thank you!

I know a lot of people complained back in the day about the game only having 4 attack buttons, that it made it too simplified.

But imo, there’s just something so satisfying about pressing the same button twice in a chain combo, especially at the speed you can chain one normal into the next in MvC2. There really hasn’t been another game before or since with a similar feeling from just pressing buttons. You have some pseudo Target Combos in MvC3 that kinda does the trick, but it’s just not the same.

Man this is the first I’ve ever seen the Sabertooth THC. So cool.

@EddyGordo21 5 years ago

The THC does not always cost 3 bars.

It costs the number of bars as the number of characters who are participating in the super.

You need to keep doing this. Imagine a 20 video playlist explaining every mechanic in the game.

Revisiting this on the day of MVC Collection is a fever dream

Time to update your tips and tricks cuz #MVC2IsFree

Some characters have supers that cause a "DHC glitch" where the opponent will be forced into the dizzy spin out regardless of current combo or damage taken. Then the next character's super comes in and does massive damage due to the damage scale resetting.

Can you do charcater guides? I’d love one on Spider-Man

@viccypress6292 4 years ago

When you said "20 years since..." that hit my soul.. its like Wow! You know.

@JakeNaughtFromStateFarm 5 years ago

Just to add to the DHC notes, it’s also a good way to tag out safer. Raw tags are very unsafe, so using a DHC is a lot safer to get another character in play.
