In this exclusive episode of Men’s Locker Room, we have the AI himself, the man who is known to mimic them all, Purav Jha! With our host Sadhika Sehgal, Purav shares how he went from making TikToks in 12th grade to starring alongside Harsh Beniwal in his videos and now being best of friends and playing PUBG together.
Purav Jha talks about that one lucky day when an actor didn’t show up, Purav’s life changed forever as he got a chance to act in a major role in Harsh Beniwal's video which kick started his career.
From secretly chasing his dreams while being sneaky with his parents, to now managing massive budgets, helicopters in Manali, and man vs wild-style shoots — this is the content creator journey like you’ve never seen before! Did you know how much money and production costs actually go into creating a high quality YouTube video? Well Purav Jha spills all the details on it!
We dive into Purav’s take on Bollywood’s downfall, why Hera Pheri still hits harder than half the movies today, and his dreams of doing Rajkummar Rao-level cinema (with a side of Ranbir Kapoor fanboying). He even dishes out behind-the-scenes drama from an unreleased episode of Samay Raina’s show, India’s Got Latent, also featuring Yuzvendra Chahal in the panel.
Purav’s experience on X hasn’t been great thanks to the Elvish Yadav fan army, though he mentions how good his bond with Elivish Yadav is.
Love, breakups, and talking stages? Purav opens up about his love language, navigating fame in relationships, the ideal partner and why he just can’t stay single!
From listening to Bhojpuri music to hanging out with his male friends, Purav Jha shares what he enjoys the most and even gives insight on his boys trip experience to Thailand! Attending a Bruno Mars concert in Bangkok with Aarush and Laila, hilarious fights they went through, the Police stopping a shoot in a major mess-up and getting caught sneaking out at night by his dad, the fun stories don’t end!
When asked who's tough to mimic, Purav talks about the character of ACP Pradyuman and Ishowspeed, later explaining how he used to practice to nail the mimicry.
While sharing his obsession of smelling good, Purav gives his top 3 perfume recommendations for men, and also mentioned the Tam Dao’s Diptyque perfume famously used by Shah Rukh Khan.
With enticing stories, insights into the life of a content creator and in the end, a sneak peak for his exciting ventures in the future, this episode of Men’s Locker Room is too fun to miss out on!
