What a wonderful challenge this project has been. When Adam (my daughter Martha’s partner) asked if I wanted to participate in his gallery exhibition, with his art collective The Foundation Press, at the Baltic Centre for Contemporary Arts in Gateshead, I was absolutely thrilled to be involved! It took some careful figuring out and a very helpful FaceTime with the marvellous Jo Avery, to settle on the quote and the style of lettering I used in the end. I love how collaborative this whole process has been, but also how ‘me’ it still is. I have made these appliqué letters out of my ‘made’ scrap fabric - one of my very favourite things to do. I hope you enjoy watching the evolution of this project!

There is a lot of content over on Patreon, which is where I make videos that are a little more behind the scenes and more diverse than you might see here on my YouTube Channel! There are 100's of videos and diaries and other fun posts right back to the start of 2019 and you would be very welcome to join me there. It is because of my Patrons that I am able to employ Anna and Rita to help me here at The Last Homely House, both on YouTube and in my Shop - you can find both these places here.
