My mother loved this program. It came on too late for us kids to watch, but in the morning over breakfast, Mom would tell us, often acting out some parts, of the night’s story. Now, I’m enjoying these and feel Mom watching with me - or is that One Step Beyond?

I’m Gen X and I didn’t even know these shows existed. Really enjoying them now.

This was my favorite episode. I remember watching it in 1964, so a rerun. We all need a friend like Jeremy. Love the line, "Kidneys make me nervous at the best of times let alone breakfast."

He only married her for ‘her money’ and he was on the DL it’s obvious when a middle aged man still needs his ‘boys night out’ every Friday and leaves his devoted wife home alone on her birthday but then gets into a rage when she goes out, so toxic!!

"Jeremy? You promised." Moving tale of love and loneliness.

This was acted so perfectly, you have to remind yourself that it's a filmed show, not reality. ❤ She's so lovely, sounding & looking like a real woman, beautiful, in emotional pain but not looking bad, or like she is crazy where's she's let go of herself. Class, while supposedly "losing it", is what I'm tryning to say! 😉

The amazing thing about these programs is that they were based on actual events. That's why they often say, "Can neither be proven or disproven". That's what I find to be most fascinating.
