Body camera footage shows Michigan State Police troopers investigating a crash on southbound US-131 Kalamazoo County. The driver at the center of the investigation is Sheriff Mark Lillywhite. Lillywhite's county-owned Chevy Traverse was traveling 100 mph with no braking when it rear-ended a Nissan Rogue carrying a married couple, sending their SUV rolling across the median. Both occupants suffered minor injuries. The sheriff repeatedly denies he was driving and refuses field sobriety tests and a preliminary breath test. Troopers then arrest him for OWI, and a loaded pistol is found in the center console.
