Axe: boy I am so proud of how much I've stepped up my building game this series! I love my base!
Syntac's Wild Rhynio: 😈😈😈

Rhyniognatha is the oldest insect currently known, having lived some 400 million years ago. The only fossil we have is part of its head and jaw, so while it is speculated to have been able to fly, we don't have actual proof. Oh, and Rhyniognatha was less than a centimetre long. 😅

Ain’t no way it’s already been 2 years since the Rhynio came out

Axeman went around killing the low level carchars and gigas so he could get another good giga to breed with

In the admin settings for the berry crates you can make it so they don’t need the pantry.

26:14 so I’ve tried this actually, and it turns out dreadnoughtus have such a high drag weight that rhynios can’t aggro to them and thus will not try to deposit an egg in them

Name idea, Thopter. Like an ornithopter.

The pantry has three structure options when placing: Wood, Stone, and Adobe. once placed, the settings from the radial menu will let you toggle if you want it to have one of the official skins instead (Frontier, steampunk, etc.) you can also adjust weather effects, and the lighting inside

The Rhynio needs a certain amount of height to be able to do the implantation animation, the cave was to low. I think it's about 2-3 behemoth gates high. There are probably caves on Rag that are tall enough but another option is to release it from the trap for impregnation and the immediately reaggro owith a flyer and lead it back to the trap/cave. Obviously this is way easier if there's 2 of you.

I think you can shoot off the back if you're in the passenger seat - lovely to see the Rhynio getting some love again!

These things terrify me. So glad you did this video, not so scary when you have the right tames.

You can change the preserving settings so you don’t have to use the panty in the Visual Storage Admin settings.

Syntac you turn off the Pantry Requirement in the Visual Storage mod settings!^^
Also, on PVE you can shoot off the back of a Rhynio, but not on PVP,  however it may be possible with a server setting: IgnorePVPMountedWeaponryRestrictions=True

there's a despawn timer once a creature leaves it's spawn zone, so Momma is likely gone.

Name idea "Fred"

Yea, I tried to use a tickle chicken to tame a rhynio, figured their drag weight would be enough and I had already been breeding them for a boss army and nope, they wouldn't work lol.

After Syntac had a big farm, now Syntac has a helicopter to fertilize it.

Your first time taming a Rhynio in a very long time
Those bugs are goated

Yes, you used to be able to use weapons on the Rhynio, but then the nerfs for PVP came, so you can't use weapons anymore. They also reduced its speed by 50% when carrying ANY dino, which kinda sucks (even a dodo would reduce you to 50%). Good thing there's a mod that reverts the nerfs.
