I still cant forget captain andersen’s death, it was so sad man im not even joking 😭😭

Officer bishop was such an amazing actor ! Really liked her character

aaron should return honestly.. aside from smitty.. he brings a comedic vibe in the show and it was always funny when he interacts with another.. especially when he flaunts being rich unintentionally..

Still miss Talia. She was so smart and stunning.

I always wondered what happened to Ben’s actor? He was Nolan’s best friend, allowed Nolan to live in his house and then he just disappeared. Like I get he was scared from getting attacked but we never heard from him again, even for Nolan’s wedding. I would love to see a cameo or even a phone call between him and Nolan. I think the best would be a FaceTime like how they incorporated Henry when he was working in Japan.

I love mercedes she was so good. Her character's death was a huge part of Nolan's story. It was sad to see her go, but the way her character's death impacted Nolan was big.

It's sad to see how the show tried to keep Jackson and gave in to his demands and he quit anyways i lost respect for him tbh

Im a new The Rookie fan and I was shocked about how Jackson was killed off so anti climactically I wish he stayed. I really liked the OG rookie trio their dynamic was charming

11:45 At the end of S1, when she was killed. I realized “Holy shit… no one is safe.” And that was proven by Jackson dying as well…

Why would anyone cast Titus when the production literally re wrote a whole season for him and he still left?

Titus had it all, and then threw everything away. Dude thought he was some sort of golden goose lol

I have to respect the way everyone handled the Aaron thing. Normally, when a writer feels they have no more stories with a character, they just kill them off. But they had it so he could come back easily. Ideally, he also would have gotten a proper sendoff episode. But it is what it is.

On a tangent to the Titus section, Brandon Routh is a great and underrated performer. He made us really hate Doug Stanton. Playing such a villain was very different from his previous roles.

what about ben, he was basically completely cut out once john made his own house

I really like Talia so much. It’s such a shame that she’s no longer in the series. She’s a cool character and has great chemistry with John.

Aaron is a great character, and should come back.

I liked how they didn't just kill of Jackson and leave it. I'm glad they made a mini-arc out of it at least, and that his father still got to play a role in the show.

I do miss Aaron and I'm glad they didn't kill him, it switches things up having the rookie not stay at the station I guess.

What bothers me about the death of the captain is that there has never been a new captain, so the dynamics in how the precinct operates are a bit weird. I dont know many cop series that dont have a captain.

When I first saw Jackson's death, I was a bit surprised that he went out just like that, but for me, I took it as the risk of being a cop and a sign that no one was safe. I mean, the captain was killed in the first season, someone who would otherwise be safe and protected in most other shows of this style. Sure it was super abrupt but having a main character offed like that can be a powerful plot point. It gives gravity to the situation and raises the stakes, especially since the story was involving a drug lord and they're not known for their mercy.
Was the actor being stubborn and did they make a mistake? That's their decision to make. I take it as it is in-universe.
