In this episode, Abdennour Bidar invites us on a spiritual journey to the heart of Islam, exploring death and life with remarkable depth and openness. A philosopher and writer, Abdennour shares his vision of a contemporary Islam that is free and fraternal, rooted in a symbolic understanding of sacred texts.

At Domaine des Tisserands, a center for spiritual culture he founded with Inès Weber, Abdennour Bidar unveils an approach to spirituality that transcends religious boundaries. He guides us through Islamic funeral rites, revealing their profound meaning as a path to unity and self-awareness.

The conversation touches on universal themes such as preparing for death, meditation as a tool for inner transformation, and the importance of finding one's own spiritual path. Abdennour emphasizes the importance of "dying before dying," a concept that invites a profound awareness of our divine nature.

With eloquence, he weaves together spiritual traditions, showing how Islam, like other wisdom traditions, invites us to discover our true nature beyond the ego. His interpretation of sacred texts offers a refreshing perspective, encouraging a deeper and more personal understanding of spirituality.

Abdennour's message resonates beyond Islam, inviting everyone to become the author of their own spiritual life, in harmony with the modern world while drawing upon the richness of tradition.
