In 2019, during a period of doubt and questioning, I decided to leave everything behind and move to Montreal, Quebec, on a Working Holiday Visa.
At the time, I simply thought I was going on an adventure and discovering a new culture. I had no idea that this decision would change the course of my life.
In this very personal video, I tell you my story with Montreal: my arrival in Canada, the first few euphoric months, the encounters, the moments of happiness, but also the challenges, the loneliness, and the lockdown.
I also tell you why, after being forced to leave Canada and then traveling for several years between Australia and Asia, I finally decided to come back here.
This is probably the most personal video I've made to date.
Welcome to Montreal.
Where it all began.
