GHOST OF YŌTEI
"Ghost of Yōtei presents a standalone gaming experience set in 17th-century rural Japan 300 years after the events of the critically acclaimed Ghost of Tsushima. The story follows a lonely mercenary named Atsu, haunted by her past. Seeking revenge, she roams the beautiful, rugged landscapes of northern Japan, hunting those who killed her family years ago.
Sixteen years after the death of her family, Atsu's journey through Ezo takes her into unexplored territories in search of a band of six outlaws. But she finds far more than just revenge.
Along her journey, Atsu will encounter unexpected allies and form stronger bonds than she ever imagined."

Welcome to GHOST OF YŌTEI :_lizzWave:
I'll do a full playthrough, posting one video a day. What would you prefer, everything I play done "on camera"? OR focusing more on the essential bits (bounty hunts, special quests, main story) and doing "minor" things solo (onsen, fox dens etc.)
I would love some feedback there!
Hope you'll enjoy the game guys! :_lizzAWW: I'm already in love with it!

One of best, if not THE best start a game. I LOVE IT. ❤❤❤❤❤

I once tried smithing with my father. Not a sword, but a simple hook for clothes. It gave me a lot of respect for the craft.
The feeling of being able to mold the metal when hot, while being hard when cold, was quite amazing.

I’m here in the drought of Blue Eye Samurai, hoping this can fill the void until season 2. Can’t even lie

I’m 12 hours into the game so far, just roaming around the Yotei Grasslands doing random things and Bounties, haven’t even headed for the Mountain yet and it’s incredibly enjoyable.

The game is magnificent and gorgeous, the characters you meet are interesting and I really enjoy the new Camp mechanic, lighting the fire, cooking some fish etc.

Matching the little maps you get onto the big map is also really enjoyable as someone that digs cartography, so that’s a welcome addition.

Just want to mention for any other new players; forget Jin’s skills.
You’re starting out fresh, you don’t have ‘Perfect Parry’ skill yet, trying to do that in the Snake fight isn’t going to work so great.
Remember you’re at the beginning and you have all new things to learn.
If the game is desperately telling you to just block for now, and then hit him when he’s staggered, then do that.

Lock on can be turned on in the settings menu. Its with the other combat helpers.

Meets Kojiro…Ah Kenji 2.0! Yeah, that’s exactly what I thought, when I watched someone else play this game! I can’t play this yet, as I unfortunately don’t have a PS5.💔
