26:00 when Gooseworx was specifically asked if Jax was an Anti-Hero, the only response was “there’s nothing heroic about him.”

“One of the few things I don’t control are your minds!” -Cain

No, no he can’t fix you

"Bad frame! Bad frame! Bad frame!" - Me, sick, yelling at the screen from my couch: "THEN UNPAUSE IT! GOD!"

Fun fact, Bubble is voiced by the show's creator, Gooseworx, and the Gloink Queen is voiced by Uzi from Murder Drones :3

Another Glitch Reaction from Mari. Always makes my day. 🧡

1. Caine and Bubble are AIs that are always turned on. They manage the Digital Circus and try to keep the human PCs entertained and mentally stable (they aren't very good at it, however, because they don't really understand humans).
2. Pomni, Jax, Ragatha, Zooble, Gangle, and Kinger are Player Characters: humans trapped in the virtual world after putting on a headset. As a result of entering the Digital Circus, they can't remember their real names anymore and don't actually need to eat, drink, breathe, or sleep to stay alive. In fact, NOTHING in the Digital Circus can kill the PCs permanently. They can be hurt, but they cannot actually die.
3. Kaufmo and all the others trapped in the cellar are also humans who used to be PCs, but they lost all hope and gave up, causing them to lose their individual sense of self and abstract. To keep them from hurting other PCs and messing up the Digital Circus, Caine isolates the abstracted in the cellar since he can't fix them. All the hallway doors with crossed out portraits used to belong to characters who abstracted and are now trapped in the cellar.
4. The Gloink Queen and the Gloinks are some of the AI NPCs created by Caine to act as characters in the the adventures that he makes for the PCs. Unlike Caine and Bubble, most NPCs usually aren't aware that they are just AIs and are only active while the adventures they are a part of are still going on.

(Not a medical professional, going off what I’ve read online, if any medical professional wants to confirm or debunk what I’m saying, I’d take their word over mine)

Yes, secondhand trauma is a thing, though in medical science the specific term is either Vicarious Trauma or Secondary Traumatic Stress. It’s very common in healthcare workers, first responders, social workers, journalists, and caregivers. It’s actually a byproduct of our empathy, as a major reason we have empathy is because we have literal “mirror neurons” that allows our brain to process pain we witness as if it’s our own pain.

In fact, there’s a condition called “mirror-touch syndrome” in which the mirror neurons may be so active that you can literally feel whatever pain you witness.

Wait until you find out about the incredibly dark novel this series is based on, Mari.

1:47 I swear whenever people put stuff like this especially with no audio makes me laugh my butt off. 💀

Mari you’re gonna love this series, it’s got chaotic gremlin energy with dashes of “hit the feels with a metal bat”
