I like how Kenny, Devon and Anthony are students in both Cobra Kai and Miyagi-Do, they're like a Golden Trio

Johnny's redemption really was something else. Not only is he free from the downward spiral from nearly getting killed over a 2nd place trophy, but he's over his old rivalry with Daniel and started a dojo partnership, got to live out the 2nd chance at fighting in the Sekai Taikai and win, has a wife, and has 3 kids, one who's going pro karate, one who's a world champ and going to an amazing college, and one who will be growing up in a nice house. I wouldn't be surprised if Johnny starts training Laura once she learns to walk, though I'm positive that he won't abuse her like Wolf did to Axel.

0:54 Love that Johnny is fully on Partnership with Daniel while he’s teaching Cobra Kai, and Daniel teaches Miyagi-Do

It was a long journey for Johnny and Daniel.

I love how they ended the series. Johnny got his big win, but in order to do so, he had to ask Daniel to coach him, sort of implying that Daniel's brand of karate has something superior compared to Johnny's.

The way I see Johnny's last round against Wolf, his glance at Daniel... I think Johnny realised that Daniel is doing everything he can to help Johnny win - including evoking Johnny's Cobra Kai attitude. If Daniel urges him to abandon the Cobra Kai mindset only a minute after, he's still doing it so Johnny could win. THAT is the point where Johnny finally trusted Daniel.

So basically... Johnny had to adopt Miyagi-do in the last moment to get his big win - making it so that Daniel also got his big win! It's so clever!

Theres only one way to fight. Offense, Defense, Special teams, not fighting, ALL AT THE SAME TIME.

Hearing Johnny praise Daniel and spread the message of Defense and Inner Balance is honestly emotionally satisfying. Started this series liking one over the other, but by the end of the series I was an absolute fan of both Daniel LaRusso & Johnny Lawrence.

If you look at the cobra Kai wiki, it says that Daniel is his best friend. Who would’ve known that in the 80s that they’d be rivals and then be best friends many years later?

After reflecting on the entire series and going over all the twists, turns, and subplots, I've come to three conclusions:

- The show was about Johnny and Cobra Kai, never about Daniel and Miyagi Do
- The dojo doesn't make you. You make the dojo.
- Cobra Kai never dies

I would love more Johnny Lawrence in the future - Cobra Kai never dies

First Kreese said "We do not train to be merciful here... mercy is for the weak" but then Johnny comes and changes it "We do not train to be merciful here... but I will bring out the best in you" honestly phenomenal...

That callback to catching flies with chopsticks was special...until Johnny ruined it.

Within Miyagi-do and cobra kai, learn to have balance in order to strike hard

Johnny became the sensei in Cobra Kai. The new students are in Cobra Kai. Cobra Kai is the best dojo and the TV series is amazing. Strike First. Strike Hard. No Mercy. 🥋

Strike first, strike hard, no mercy! Cobra Kai never dies!

I love the ending. It's like knowing that while another way of doing things isn't really your deal, you know its always going to exist and its beneficial if done right even if it isn't your first choice.
