This guy always has some of the worst takes I've ever heard

Clickbait final boss

The Finals is the gameshow not cashout.

23:40 a major decrease to ttk makes it very similar to EVERY OTHER GAME. ttk is a huge part of the feel of the finals.

A finals br would go down crazy… it being a game show could have endless possibilities…. Just one huge game show you still spawn in like cashout with your loadout….. no circle closing in ,a more creative way of bringing you closer together like the Darwin project would have a show creator that controls the maps I could imagine the finals having a show creator activating live events etc nuking sectors the maps, imagine there were pick ups that would spawn in you could run into a mini gun pick up, a tank etc maybe it’s based on cash people with least cash will get chucked out of the game so it’s a constant rush

Lower TTK could be dope. I can see it.

I think if THE FINALS ever adds a Battle Royale, they should make it something genuinely different from the standard BR formula. Instead of just jumping out, landing at a POI, looting for better gear, and surviving until the end, they should build it around what makes THE FINALS unique: destruction, movement, gadgets, changing buildings, and objectives that keep teams moving. It should feel like a new kind of BR, not just THE FINALS with a BR mode. I also think the BR should start as a limited-time beta so players can test it and give feedback. If the community enjoys it, they can make it permanent. If it doesn't work, they can move on without making a huge permanent change. And if the BR doesn't do well, I think they could focus on something potentially even more fun and game-changing: new contestant builds. Instead of only Light, Medium, and Heavy, they could add a Juggernaut that's bigger, slower, and much more durable, a Balanced build between Medium and Heavy, and a Lightweight that's smaller and much faster but has around 100 HP. Obviously, these would need a LOT of balancing. Weapons, gadgets, abilities, and existing builds might need buffs, nerfs, or reworks to make everything work fairly. If Embark could balance the new builds properly, they could completely change how THE FINALS is played while still keeping the game feeling unique.

The biggest needs for the finals are better anticheat (I guess 2 isnt enough) less desync issues and fix bugs that have been around for multiple seasons.

The only way i would accept a BR mode in the finals would be if it was 32 teams of 3, and the goal would be to get the highest cash in the mode. The top 8 of that game goes directly into a cashout game.

i think its a good idea because it doesnt change the amount of plyers who love the cashout

I like Cash out. I love Power Shift

Doomer titles to straight misinformation in the thumbnail is more of a lateral move… but I do think the resource split argument is stronger than you think. We’re talking about a company that couldn’t work on S12 and deal with the cloak meta at the same time. The same company that won the lottery with arc raiders, then fumbled massive because they can’t release content nearly fast enough

Lower ttk (completely seperate balancing for EVERY weapon) and new maps would already take so many resources from cashout it's insane. Even though embark is a good studio they aren't magic and won't be able to fund both gamemodes without players

Lowering TTK would not work in today's finals, unless we also bring back the op heal beam and defibs. Also lower TTK removes a lot of the dynamism and team play that makes the finals unique

BR is a great idea for the FINALS

Please god let this happen cause it would be so fucking funny 🙏

I love the battle royale idea. Ive been a finals player since season open beta and i love the idea of new players being introduced to the game

I honestly love the take man. I would love a BR! Even though that is kinda biased since I essentially grew up through all my teen years playing Fortnite. BUT it would instantly give this player base a HUGE spike and if we can trickle that into the main mode, then round of applause embark studios…The Finals may actually be mainstream once again!👏🏾

I don't like BRs (TDM, walking, RNG simulators) but I do agree that adding one to the finals, would be a great way to bring more people to play / try it. People tend to like what they already know and are opposed to new changes or learning something new. TDM feels outdated and people seems to have the BR mode stuck in their heads.

Lowkey if the time to kill was faster and all the weapons were even I think Battle Royale would be fire 🔥
