As a Canadian, we often bitch about the amount of taxes we pay. When I see some of my Loonies going towards creating quality productions such as this and supporting local artists, it eases the pain a bit. Consider this a gift to the world from all Canadians. Enjoy.
Hey Michael...this is the primary reason that channels like yours, should never have videos taken down by record labels and other artists. I may have never, ever found this group on my own and the are awesome. I just don't understand how a record company not see the value in what people like you, Rick Beato and other reactors/teachers do. Thank you!
I'm South African and i don't remember how i discovered Bahamas but i've been in love for a few months now. What a revelation they've turned out be. All The Time might be my favorite but it could also be So Free 🤷🏾‍♀️ And yes, Canadians are fucking awesome in their artistry!
I first became aware of Bahamas and Afie when he opened for Jack Johnson at the DPAC in Durham, NC in 2013. Just Afie and his guitar and two wonderful backup singers, one of which was the incredible Felicity Williams. My brother and I immediately became fans. We saw Afie perform with the band Dawes a few years ago and it was awesome. The whole show with Dawes and Afie playing each others songs. Great night of music.
If you like Canadians you must do a review of The Tragically Hip. Gord Downy was a brilliant Poet. The Hip were absolute riff machines. Their last tour when Gord had brain cancer was impactful at a level way beyond simple rock and roll (although the Hip had that in spades).
Never heard of them before going to a Goose show in Toronto where they brought him out for a song. They played "trick to happy" together and the place went nuts.
I’m from Canada and I had never heard of this band… loved it. Lots of talented musicians in Canada. Legends your country has barely even heard. Come on in- the water’s fine…
Actually laughed out loud at Michael's "oh shit yeah" as soon as the song started picking up. I don't know anything about guitars or technicalities of music, but I love these videos.
