Today I tried something I’ve never done in Phnom Penh before… a Riverside Cruise along the Mekong River. But what was supposed to be a simple sunset cruise turned into one of the craziest, most unexpected days I’ve had in Cambodia. 😂🌧️

I grabbed a tuk-tuk, did some bargaining, explored the Royal Palace area, bought balloons for fun, met up with friends, and tried to catch a boat—
until the weather suddenly changed everything.

Instead of letting the day fall apart, we pivoted… and somehow turned it into a perfect Cambodian night: rooftop views, Peruvian–Japanese fusion food, and a whole lot of laughs with Travel With Chris, Seara Travels, and SilkyRonTheRoad.

If you’re planning to visit Phnom Penh, this video shows EXACTLY what a real day here feels like—beautiful, unpredictable, full of people, energy, and surprises.
