(NO ADS) The Whisper on the Mountain: Elijah’s Journey | Calm Bible Stories for Sleep

Sacred Slumber

Experience 6 hours of profound biblical peace as you drift into a deep, restorative sleep. This special production begins with the intimate story of Elijah, the prophet who called down fire from heaven only to find himself searching for God’s voice in the silence of a desert cave [01:06]. We journey from the heights of Mount Carmel through the inspiring lives of Obed-Edom, Jeremiah, and Samuel, each story meticulously paced for relaxation and paired with a gentle, continuous rain soundscape [00:52].

The Black Screen Experience: To protect your sleep hygiene and eliminate blue light exposure, this video features a permanent black screen [37:52]. This design choice prevents screen burn-in and ensures a dark, peaceful environment for your rest. We have disabled all mid-roll ads so your spiritual journey remains completely uninterrupted.

What I love about telling of the story of Elijah is that God comforts him instead of being angry that Elijah was scared and feeling alone.

It is 10:15 p.m. in Colorado Springs and I am praying for God's healing is there anybody listening to this bedtime story of Elijah and the still small voice of God. I always try to listen to the still small voice of God being quiet so that I can hear him over all the noise of the outside world thank you Jesus that you care enough to speak to me. Thank you that I am your child because I have faith in you. And that you are my Lord and my savior and I believe in my heart that you were raised from the dead can you die on the cross dead for 3 days and rose from the dead 3 days later and then send it to the father. And I believe in life eternal with you Jesus thank you Jesus for redeeming me redeeming me giving anybody the chance to redeem themselves should they call on the name of the Lord Jesus. Romans 10:9. Bless the Lord oh my soul and all that is within me bless the Lord oh my soul my soul! Thank you Father God amen

It’s 11:45 pm in Bakersfield, Ca. as I’m overnighting with my wife in the hospital. This is her phone and she is the bravest person I have ever known. She is 18 years my junior with chronic and profound health problems. It’s painfully obvious to both of us that I will outlive her, yet she always manages to keep a positive outlook on life. I am so blessed to be able to go with her in this journey.
