Marquez doesn't get enough recognition for how good he really was. thanks for the education

His chin and recovery rate is just crazy. One of my favourites of all time! Don't care who wins in their rivalry, but I'd pay to erase it all in my mind just to rewatch all 4.

As a Filipino I love the Mexican Legends that Manny fought but Juan Ma is my favorite. Salute to my Mexican Brothers ❤❤

His skills in the ring are up there with the top boxers over the last 100 years. Truly a once in a life time knockout artist!

Not only the best counter puncher ever but the most accurate boxer ,  he  rarely misses a punch  99 %  punches land on target

His combos were so fast and unpredictable. Definitely an atg.

“Juan Manuel Marquez” the guy’s name even sounded like a video game boss

I never realized how short his punches were. We're used to seeing people getting knocked out with quick short uppercuts, but he's doing this with 6 inch overhands. I really enjoyed this analysis. Well done.

Finally someone features one of the best boxers I've ever watched. He is so good that he frustrated top boxers of his time. He is so patient in counter punching.

Most fluid counter combo puncher I've seen and great bravery to bait those exchanges. His willingness to plant his feet and take a shot to throw 3-4 sharp, accurate shots right back made him special and a terror for most fighters in the late rounds.

1:07 Those body blows are THUNDEROUS...man I wouldn't want to be on the receiving end of that.

His ability to comeback after getting knocked down is simply amazing

His body shots were also crushing, it is hard to forget the sight of Robbie Peden puking blood after eating too many body shots from Marquez, a couple of those strikes could make anyone to forget to cover high for a moment and then the headsman's axe could come easier for the kill.

One of my all time favourite fighters,a true genius inside the ring.

Marquez is one of most complete boxer. His power, combination, speed all balancing. And the most important thing is his fights never boring, dare to trade punches,  not running around. One of my favorite boxer

One of the best fighters of our time. He does everything well. Head movement, feet placement and movement, controlling the distance, and a great solid chin🤙🏾💯

Finally the breakdown of Dinamita Marquez.

Great detail in your videos. Many Marquez fights are classics but 2 I would especially recommend is the fight against Katsidis and the 1st fight against Juan Diaz. His uppercuts and combination punching are beautiful to watch.

I have always notice that Marquez did not counter with a single punch, he would counter with a convo, 3 to 5 hard punches in succesion...
