Your feline friends are always up to some mischief it seems.😂 Thank you for the talk. Be well.
Also, thank you for answering my question about keep 8 precepts for a 24 hour period. I try daily to keep the 5 precepts. Once in a while I choose a day and try for the 8 precepts for a 24 hour period. I live alone, I don’t work so I don’t need a lot of sustenance. And I eat enough before mid day to have enough nutrition. That nemesis I mentioned is a trickster. I know I don’t really need to eat, it just keeps popping in my mind. But I’m starting to see it for what it is.

I watch this channel for the cat(s) 21:07

Context: Regarding the people who comment for you to read the Bible/Quran/etc (more). You are quite correct to say that Buddhism has no conflicts with other religions/thoughts/traditions. Any conflicts are but perceptions that are valid and true to these people, but at the same time, ultimately illusory perceptions and not valid and not true.
Question:
That being said, with deepest respect Bhante, I sense a bit of conflict within you between Buddhism and the Christianity you grew up with and “no longer believe” (if I paraphrase accurately). If there is still conflict, why do you think that is, and if you do choose, how do you intend to reconcile it?

All praise to God
The father of my Lord
Jesus Christ
It is by his great Mercy that
I have been born again
Because God raised Jesus Christ
From the dead
Now I live
With great expectation
No one can know
A person's thought
Except that person's own spirit
And no one can know
God's thoughts
Except God's own spirit
The Lord is good
A strong refuge
When trouble comes
He is close to
Those who trust in him
He leads me by his truth
And teaches me
For he is the God
Who saves me
All day long
I put my hope in him
God does not forget me
He has written my name
On the palms of his hands
I know that a person
Is made right with God
By faith in Jesus Christ
Not by obeying the law
And I have believed in Jesus Christ
So that I might be made
Right with God
Because of my faith in Christ
Not because I have obeyed the law
For no One will ever
Be made right with God
By obeying the law
When I openly declare
That Jesus Christ is Lord
And Believe in My heart
That God has raised him
From the dead
I am saved
If my own heart is wise
God's heart rejoices
I acknowledge
No God but him
For there is no other savior
When I return to him
He returns to me
The Lord of heaven's armies
Speaks to me
He has done mighty deeds
Summoning each new generation
From the beginning of time
It is the Lord God alone
The first and the last
He will strengthen me
He will restore me
Because of his compassion
It will be as though
He never rejected me
For he is
The Lord my God
Who will hear My cries
Unless the Lord builds a house
The work of the builders is wasted
Unless the Lord protects the city
Guarding it with sentries
Will do no good
All who declare
That Jesus is the son of God
Have God living in them
And they live in God
Have mercy on me
Oh God
Because of your unfailing love
Because of your great compassion
Blot out the stains of my sins
Wash me clean from my guilt
Purify me from my sin
Others were given
In exchange for me
God traded their lives for mine
Because I am precious to him
I am honored
And he loves me
The father of my Lord
Jesus Christ
It is by his great Mercy that
I have been born again
Because God raised Jesus Christ
From the dead
