Thank you for this. I got a referral for physical therapy but I haven’t made time for it because the pain comes and goes. It’s easy to ignore when it’s not causing problems but THEN it gets triggered and it sucks for a few weeks and I’m like “where did I put that PT order?” LOL! The hip pain connection is interesting and may be enough to get me to go to PT ASAP.

I am at this situation after 15 years and have too much difficulty walking or standing (have difficulty in command of the leg). Have done many things, so far no success, and this is because specialists I have seen have been very contradictory as to what’s wrong with my leg.

Doc, does Spondylolisthesis (lumbar vertebrae slippage) make the same pain as this condition? At times I wonder if it could be something else making the pain shotting down my legs is happening.

Just like the video explains, this kind of weird ache usually starts on just one side. You might feel it in one side of your back or in one butt cheek. If you notice these signs, don't wait around—start stretching and massaging those hip muscles right away.
