You know enough to know the way
Six billion people, just one name

Stand out on the edge of the Earth

Stand out on the edge of the Earth
Stand out on the edge of the earth

Look into this new future's face
Stand out on the edge of the earth
Dive into the center of fate

One of the greatest racing game intro ever imo

@manuelvalera959 5 years ago

the truth is that the song is much cooler with the sirens playing in the background

@makfrags14 4 years ago

The sirens give it that extra bit of nostalgia

Have to admit that this is one of the most nistolgic and coolest intros ever, PERIOD.

I miss this so much… that one song was getting us into the right atmosphere. Cruising at 200mph down the long desert straights and pushing ourselves up the windy, narrow mountains covered in snow.

I dunno why but Hot Pursuit feels like an apocalypse for the racers
With that intro music and cinematic and whole thing focusing on cops getting technology to be so advanced to be able to catch the fastest racers it feels like Hot Pursuit is the end of racers in this version of NFS universe

I spent so much time as a kid playing on my older brothers save since he had way more cars unlocked and id just freedrive so much, when nightfall came id turn off the headlights to see how far i could drive before hitting something

Sometimes I would sit here at the menu just listening to this until the cutscene would come up and just listen to it over and over. I have tears in my eyes.

I got Hot Pursuit remastered on switch, this game is fucking insane
I've completed the campaign like 3 times, and after watching the E3 trailer and intro of the game, Edge of the Earth is hardwired into my brain
And I couldn't be happier about that
Really glad I was able to experience the game finally
