Whoever decided that Tripwire should have a short double jump and glide cooldown is actually evil

You don’t give trapper characters insane mobility and get out of jail passives/abilities for that exact reason

People really don't understand how any type of healing completely shuts down a Tripwire.
You spend so long on a Metal just to get stunned once and then they heal all the chip damage on an Eggman in like 6 seconds
He can also just sit still sometimes and radar will not find him and prioritize another survivor

7:44 that javelin throw was absolutely magnificent

Long story short: everyone sucks against her

"How well does everyone deal with terrible game design"

I know everyone’s gonna say this, but this reminds me to the time meta knight was so broken every character bad against him was instantly bad and every character vise versa was instantly good, this game is good but the balancing is so comically bad😭💔

Don't forget, tails cannon shot gets cancled when damaged and he is activlu shooting... make sure your not bleeding after a hit or else when you shoot it's ginna last a whopping 0 seconds

where's johnny joymode

On a serious note, Knuckles I feel should've been absolutely bottom tier. His kit relies on surprise and can be outright countered if ever anticipated. He's most useful as a stun stacker against Trip and not much else, as he cannot avoid or disable mines which the entire cast is capable of. If he could ground slam near a mine to trigger it safely, he'd probably be way better off. At least Eggman can go relatively unpunished in comparison to Knuckles in terms of LMS and mines; the boost can help dodge Reach Out and also allow you to quickly scuttle away from Trip's beam if it touches you, forcing melee confrontations if Trip cannot make you well... trip.

1:35 his Dropdash can also work well with Metals destructive charge making near impossible for Trip to dodge any stun (also works well with a Knux,Tails, and Blaze although also working with Silver and Amy to a lesser extent)

Eggman is just desperate for a shield buff. Just a shield buff would make wonders against tripwire and kolossos

Cream can also jump + dash out of a mine explosion if timed correctly

i think cream deserves an s tier, considering she can manage to minimize the damage of tripmines to only around 2 with her dash.

Oh yeah you can also disarm tripwire mines by using silver flight

The issue with cream is some killer spawns are RIGHT next to survivors so while tripwire may not indicate you immediately she can spawn next to you immediately or spawn within indicator range.

7:55 he can also fly out of mines so that’s three (I tried it)

Funny thing, hammer throw can remove multiple mines at once, and still stun tripwire

A fun fact most people don’t know, mines become neutral when they are hit by a stun. Meaning when they explode yes, they hurt everyone including the exe.

the current best match up I've seen against tripwire is; tails with good aim, metal who knows the physics, amy, cream, silver, and blaze.
I had this match up one time (I was amy) and our metal knew the games physics well enough to fling himself across the map and grab tripwire out of the air, the he'd camp tails to heal while the rest of us held her back

Blaze has a few things you missed. Like sol dash is miles better than kick against tripwire. Also sometimes sol dash can break people out of reach out and you won't take damage as sol dash like round kick has I frames but sol dashes I frames only go away when you hit the ground unlike roundkick when as soon as you complete your animation the I frames go away. Also tripwire has 2 ways to stop silver from flying both reach out and lazer same with tails

Not only console but mobile too

5:27 This will not stop them. Some tripwires can and will clear the entire map without hitting anyone else just to catch a metal healing.

Edit: also, for Eggman, his tactic changes from trying to make the exe waste just time to just harassing the EXE until they waste their mines. His emotes are the loudest and most ragebaity which is perfect for this.
