Nice review. Have been enjoying your content since I've come across it. Hope to be a client sooner rather than later. Your comment about MB direction with their driver's assistance got my attention -- MB had a level 3 system, Drive Pilot. Why did they discontinue it? I'd been searching for a used EQS or S Class with it. Level 3 is better than 2+ so why the regression?

Glad they replaced that Honda grille . One of the best SUVs out there and definitely better looking than the G with the outdated 1970 design.

I don't think I like a single "improvement" they improved all the things we liked. The front grill was amazing so stately and elegant last year. The rear could have gotten a nice thin metal line like the new s class but no we got a big beefy black bar so ugly. I wish they would've updated the interior better NO we didn't need three screens that actually look cheaper and smaller than last years. We wanted a smooth cup holder cover, but no they didn't replace that. Like so many ODD choices??? I just don't get it

Mercedes needs to reign it in a bit with the stars, it is now a bit gimmicky. I have owned, and still own multiple MB's so I am a fan. On my 2018 the stars were is discrete spots such as body light lenses and a few other spots and they are pretty cool looking because you were finding them weeks and months after owning the car. On my 2025 they are literally everywhere, in the grill, the lights, the door light, and it seems pretty much everywhere throughout. I would say it is too much on that car. That 2027 GLS has dialed it up even more. Enough already. It doesn't really even look right because the Mercedes star was always within a circle; all the badging was that way, the hood ornaments, even the stamping on MB parts. Now they are just using the star with no circle and plastering them everywhere.

So what aspects of the technology falls under subscription and what is by default there to be used without a subscription.
Next what privacy is there . Are there cameras watching and recording the driver and or passengers and is that date being transferred somewhere

Instead of the camera on yourself constantly, why not show the instrument clusters when driving?? We are here to listen to your review, not watch your bow tie!
