УАЗ-469, это целая советская эпоха, для нас это знаковый автомобиль. Спасибо WPL!

Torture test sounds like a great idea. All my rc(and full scale) vehicles go through it.

We need these wpl trucks to get some brass upgrades and softer tires. I don't know why no one has made brass for these

Я в армии на таких ездил за деньгами) мы,солдаты,выполняли роль инкассаторов) если бы меня начали грабить,я бы не проснулся,только автомат мой не трогайте)))

Do I hear the garage music from Alaska in snowrunner?

@Bear-05TJ 10 months ago

I got a wpl b36 would be sick except the used Philips head screws on everything that along with tightening them down so much that if you tried to take for example the wheels off you would instantly strip out the cheap screws! So when I tried to install the metal axels and things I got it was basically impossible. Plus the stock servo was not strong enough for the massive wheels. Just I’d recommend staying away from Philips head screws or if you do buy it keep it stock.

Dear Mr Pickering,
I write to express my admiration for your review (so timely!) and particularly for the run vid. That's a proper, two-cups-of-tea run vid.
I have a question too; given that this truck shares a chassis with the 1:10 Jimny and that Jimnies are tiny, do you think this would be of a similar scale to a C34 or C44? In other words, is it the holy grail scale, 1:12? Mine is pretty much a 1:12 channel, you see.

@BeverratRC 10 months ago

That UAZ WPL looks damn good, I have the Jimny myself and I have started the WPL 100Mile challenge with it (only 9KM in so like 7 Miles?). Decided to run it RTR untill something gives out as I was building a CD14 (C64 frame) and was looking into rebuilding my C-74-1. Although I don’t have the time at the moment to finish that rebuild. Makes me vexed but I need income to pay the bills unfortunately.

Looks great! I have one ordered on the way.
From what I can see, scale-wise it's spot on. A repaint and weathering needed thou.
Driving.. well, it's way to light for the suspension. So I would add some weight, experimenting until it looks good traversing obstacles.
Oh and yeah, a winch would be helpful to I recon 😁
Anyway, nice video, thanks for sharing!
