I would walk 11 miles and I will walk 11 more, just be the man that walked twenty-two miles, to fall down at your door.

"Is there a catch? The answer is no."
"The sounds of the 11th mile will continue to exist in your mind"

if the figures are of past people who attempted this road, then it was probably a breeze for the first few people who ever attempted this to reach the last mile

The author saying there is no catch there, but at the end, "Do you have something else you desire?"

There's the catch. Temptation.

Brings bunch of layers and a ski mask, ear plugs, a blindfold, paints all windows but windshield black, brings spare tires, and takes off as many layers possible on mile 10
And THAT, kids, is called being prepared.

Don't attempt this if you have ADHD. You'd get bored so fast.

Can someone just please make a short horror film of this? I've heard the story so many times and I'd love to see it actually playing out. I want to see where someone does it and succeeds, and one where someone does not succeed...
