I'm a proud descendant of his school. The philosophy of Kodenkan is as important as our technique. Kyōju, dōmo arigatōgozaimashita.

Great historical video about Judo JuJutsu.
Thank you very much sharing it. 🙏🏻🥋🙋🏻‍♂️

I began learning Danzan Ryu in March 2022 and I love it. I wish I would have met and trained with Professor Henry Okzaki . Anyone part of the AJJF as well?

Wally Jay would open his small circle jujitsu after his studies in the video.

I like this style of jujitsu

This is cool! I've recently began to study Danzan Ryu Jujitsu, and it's really neat to see footage from the time of it's origination.

Special thanks to Sensei Bernie Lau who originally compiled this footage to create this documentary; that is his voice narrating. MaHAlo Nui Loa!

They sure tortured poor Wally.

That's Professor Wally Jay's Instructor.

It looks like Judo,I love old school Jujutsu it is straight forward  and no fancy nonsense.

Please remember this is Kodenkan Jujitsu not BJJ. In addition these are only the throwing and grapple arts up to 1st Degree Black Belt with certain arts left out. Each list has 20 to 25 arts and are Yawara, Nage No Kata, Shime No Kata,  and Oku No Kata for those below black belt. There are several lists if arts for black belts which I will not disclose for safety reasons. I have yet to see any BJJ artist perform any of these advanced arts.  - Gary Bowers Jr. - Sandan - Jinseikan School of Kodenkan Jujitsu.
