To note: the axe that Springtrap is always seen with is most likely a reference to the “die in a fire” music video because that’s what he dismantles the animatronics with so yeah

The issue with Springtrap is that, in the main games, he doesn’t really do anything.
Like, all he does is crawl through vents and jump at you. So of course they have to get creative.

BBN spring trap has a pretty good lms theme that I wish you would have mentioned, but other than that good video

I feel like the Springtrap from Bite by Night is loosely inspired by the Springtrap from Pillar Chase, but maybe I'm just talking nonsense.

Seriously, they have several similarities, but with clear differences.

(and his scream after hitting Charge is clearly inspired by Springtrap's scream from DBD)

I’m pretty sure that the use of a fire axe on spring trap in dbd is mainly bec the community everytime they make a concept, spring trap always has an axe so I’m pretty sure bhvr(the creators of dbd) did it to make the community happy and obviously it wasn’t that far off or bad if Scott himself approved

I love his voicelines on dbd

And now there's only one of them left.

I'm biased because I've only played DBD, but hitting the axes is always really satisfying, like sure he also has an axe like Huntress but his axe feels heftier (even without the admittedly garbage Freddy's hat.) You can hit some absolutely bullshit orbitals as him which are much harder to do on Huntress because her hatchets go way further.

DBD brought the true springtrap

"killer instinct is like aura but worse"
well that's a hot take

Springtrap is one of my main Killers in DbD, there’s a few other quirks about his DbD incarnation you missed.

If Springtrap doesn’t have his Axe on him, he moves at 4.6 as opposed to his usual 4.4. This basically means he’s at the standard movement speed most Killers have as opposed to the slightly lower speed Ranged Killers, as well as Hag, Chucky and Blight, are. This can be extremely useful as his increase in speed can allow him to catch up to Survivors in chase slightly easier, or allow him to traverse the map quicker.

By lodging his axe into a Survivor, he gets aura on the axe. This is a mechanic he shares with The Artist’s Crows and Victor of The Twins, and it works basically the same: he can see its movement, so long as the Survivor isn’t actively trying to remove it. As you said, he can retrieve his axe after its cooldown, so he isn’t stuck as M1 only like Charlotte would be with the Survivors being able to kidnap Victor. If it’s in the environment, the Aura also appears, but it’s mostly just a reminder it’s there than anything to care too much about.

There’s a tell for when the doors are being used, too. If the little screen on the door is flickering, someone is using it. I’m unsure if Survivors can see when other Survivors using the door, but they can see when Springtrap is using it, and vice versa.

If Springtrap throws his axe, he can’t immediately act. This bars him from instantly grabbing vaults, attacking, using his doors, and even breaking Pallets or Generators.

There’s also loadouts, consisting of Perks, Add-Ons and an Offering. His Add-Ons mostly modify his Axe, with a few buffing his Doors. I usually run with Foxy’s Hook, which gives a 7% buff to speed when you run through the Axe’s AoE, but other good ones are Bonnie’s Guitar Strings, Loot Bag, and Restaurant Menu. This is just from my experience with him though.

I like the hoax purple guy skin. It looks so cool in the voice actor did amazing job although I like bye-bye night but at the same time, the only my complaints is entered and some monsters they’re kinda a little OP, but that’s just only my complaints but overall, I like you, bye-bye night skins, and the characters and all of it❤❤

I feel you should have mentioned pc2 springtraps sfx when walking, the super loud metal thuds for his footsteps and random robotic servo sounds help him feel heavy, (which he is like 800 pounds canonically) intimidating, and unpredictable

1:00  the wind is pretty strong...

Playing Springtrap in all three of these games was pretty interesting. You basically get: Springtrap who can turn into a ghost (Pillar Chase 2), DLC Springtrap (DBD), and Redesigned Springtrap (BBN). His skins in these games are pretty nice references as well.

4:53 if I'm correct, in the books it says Springtrap actually created/summons the Phantoms

I think you don't have that much experience playing bite by night.

The axe throwing definitely has a fall off.

Bear traps are extremely strong

Axe throw can be charged by holding the ability

Scream makes survivors blind

Charge are not turn your brain off you gotta know the map and have the confidence to hit it.

In all honesty, the one skin you as Hard-core fnaf fan would want in Bite By Night would be Springtraps "The Toon" skin, which is an offical collab with the YouTube Channel Piemations.  Toon Trap is from their Iconic 5-am at freddy 3 video.  His axe is replaced by a Crowbar and receives a custom model paying tribute to Piemations springtrap.  Bite by Night even got the original Voice actor Zach who was i think 15-16 at the time he voiced Springtrap in 5am at Freddy's, would reprise his role years later and voice act all of "The toons" voicelines for the skin.

Two of his iconic lines from the piemations video find themselves in game " When I'm done with you, your face will look like mashed pataoes" .  And his iconic (albiet censored) "AH MY FREAKING KNEES!"  which ties in with his crowbar throwing weapon which was used to break his kneecaps and utter that iconic line.

Dbd springtrap chase is peakest peak

"No one uses cameras" Yeah, tell that to every solo queue when I log on as killer
