We visited "Houshi Onsen Chojukan," a hidden hot spring inn nestled at the foot of Mikuni Pass in Minakami Town, Gunma Prefecture!
Along the "Mikuni Kaido," a historic road that connected Edo and Echigo (Niigata), we stopped by Sukawa-juku post town on our way to Houshi Onsen deep in the mountains🌿

Founded in 1875 (Meiji 8) and designated as a National Registered Tangible Cultural Property, "Houshi-no-Yu" is a must-visit bath where hot spring water bubbles up from the bottom of the bathtub✨
