Come along as I transform two ordinary Goodwill finds into warm, vintage-inspired primitive decor!

For the first thrift flip, I gave an old mailbox a rustic “Crow Post” makeover complete with a distressed crow and sunflower design. Then I transformed a round thrifted container into a mustard-colored Keeping Room canister with an aged label, gingham tie, and plenty of primitive character.

These budget-friendly makeovers prove that overlooked thrift-store finds can become beautiful, one-of-a-kind pieces for your home. I’ll share the techniques, finishes, and simple details I used to give both projects an authentically aged appearance.

Which makeover is your favorite—the Crow Post mailbox or the mustard Keeping Room canister? Let me know in the comments!
