If you are moving servers in Dune Awakening, this Build Tutorial for my Server Transfer Base is for you! It's designed to house all the refiners, fabricators, full power and water to run the base, and it has parking for your carrier, sandcrawler, and up to 4 buggies and 4 assault ornithopters or several cargo containers. It fits into a single sub-fief and can be placed anywhere so you can be as flexible as possible when choosing your new base spot!

is the middle square pillars or foundations? and will it all fit(includinging the pillar on bottom) in 1 advanced subfief placed on the ground or do i have to rais the subfiei above ground level first? my server will be shutting down soon, so trying to prep

hi am building this from scratch and i cant get the large vehicle fabricator to fit where u placed it the solido wont allow me to place it under the floor tiles

Looks good! You showed the placement with a Solido (build phase), can I also suggest a demonstration of placing it with the base backup tool (placement phase)?

Past placement demos/tests I have seen highlighted that foundations will automatically be added to help conform to uneven terrain, while pillars are static, so the recommendation/take-away was to avoid using pillars for transfer bases so they are more flexible. As you showed with the Solido, the pillar layout probably works in most scenarios, but curious to know if there may still be limits due to the use of pillars. If there are limits thats fine, just nice to know them and be able to take them into consideration ahead of time, the limits may even be so small and edge cases so extreme its just gets silly.

The upcoming base recycle feature probably means it's less of a blocker if your base can't be placed once at a new server, you still have the option to recycle and build again with those materials, but as we have seen, these features do often get delayed. Having peace of mind that the critical placement stage will work and maximise the number of possible locations is much preferred.

the issue with the refinery i found is the smuggler set has a lot of protrusions that interfer when the choam set is smoother. love tour setup. btw the smuggler passageway fits nicely in front of the large storage. ❤

My carrier really bounces around trying to land in your layout. The hand rails might be conflicting and tossing it around.

I liked your build so much that I created a character on your server, leveled up from scratch and worked the market until I had enough solari to buy the solido. Now, my character transfer cooldown will be up in a few days and I'll give it to my main guy on the Americas side. It's a beautiful and very efficient design. Thank you for sharing!
