Nolan Taylor-68 Review | Why I have zero tolerance for people like this

Some songs are great because of the melody. Some because of the lyrics. And some hit you because they tell a story that feels a little too real.
This week on High Rotation, I'm listening to “68” by Nolan Taylor.
This one deals with growing up in a home where the people who are supposed to take care of you aren't always capable of doing it — and what happens when a kid is forced to carry things they never should have had to carry.
I didn't grow up with that experience myself, but I love someone who did. Because of that, this song hit me differently.
This reaction got pretty raw and emotional. There were moments where the song made me think less about the music itself and more about the people we love, the things they survived, and the parts of childhood that can follow someone long after they've grown up.
That's really what I want High Rotation to be about.
Not ratings. Not whether a song is technically “good.”
It's about the songs that make us feel something, remember something, or understand somebody a little better.
If “68” means something to you, I'd genuinely love to hear why in the comments.

I've watched and rewatched every reaction to this song, so seeing yours dropped yesterday was a treat. To this day I haven't found a song that captures the pain and brokenness these types of people leave behind in others like this one does. The emotion in Nolan's voice can't be replicated. Dude went through it and put it all into this beautiful and painful song. Thank you for the reaction man. May God bless and protect you from evil.
