In this video from the Temple of History channel, we look at one of the most mysterious and influential figures in the modern world, North Korean leader Kim Jong-un. A man whose life has been divided between two completely different worlds; from his teenage years with an assumed identity in Swiss schools and an interest in Western culture to his rise to absolute power and control of one of the largest armies in the world.

In this documentary, we examine how he overcame his rivals, even those closest to him, where his historic meetings with Trump ended, and why his relations with Russia and Putin have become so close in recent years. Is he a failed reformer or a dictator following in the footsteps of his fathers?
