This guy takes such pride in making his guitars, knows every aspect of the production process, uses pre-felled wood, and smiles the whole time. Makes me proud to own Godin products.

No doubt he's worked every one of those stations. He knows the details in a way not from a company memo. We need a ton more leaders like him.

I wonder how much the CEO of Gibson knows about guitar making... Mr Godin is a guitarist and craftsman! Way to go. Thanks.

We all love Robert here in Québec....and dont forget that besides being probably able to run the place on his own he does all the selling himself and you can buy a Godin product made right here just about anywhere on the planet, everybody in the music business knows him. Merci Robert.

You can tell Robert Godin is passionate about his work, he's doing it primarily to make guitars, whereas so many other are doing it primarily to make money.

I can see the pride in monsieur Godin's eyes.  Looking forward to buying one.

Oh my now I know why I love Seagull Guitars... the VERY best. I currently have 4 and ADORE them all. MR. Godin is so adorable and so excited, his enthusiasm is contagious. Thank you Godin guitar makers. You ROCK!!!

it's so obvious how much this guy loves what he does. this video was one of the biggest reasons I went with a Godin most recently.

9 years later and ill end up with an S6, entourage, or coastline because of this video. The passion is just contagious!

I recently purchased my first Godin guitar, a Multiac Encore Nylon model. First guitar I've ever bought new that didn't need to be immediately taken to my tech for a set-up. Intonation, string action, fret finish, etc are all simply perfect. Robert's pride in his instruments must be absorbed by all his employees. My thanks to Godin Guitars.

I"m thoroughly impressed by Rober Godin's grasp of the processes. He's completely on top of exactly every process and it's like second nature. I would imagine he could run this plant single handedly if it weren't so immense. Right down to the micron. Great video. Now if PG could only afford to give him a microphone of his own... lol.

I love that Godin controls for the tone, so if you want the same quality in a new guitar that you had in an older one you once owned, then you know that you're getting the same quality.

I just wish Premier Guitar would have invested on TWO wireless microphone systems - one of them on the interviewer and one on Mr. Godin. would have been SO MUCH easier to HEAR what both of them are saying!!!

I have never seen so much attention to detail on a mass produced guitar.  Mr. Godin is obviously passionate about his company and it shows! Great job, my next acoustic is going to be a Godin for sure!!!  Also, thanks to Premier Guitar for allowing us the opportunity to watch such craftsmanship in action!

I was on the fence about what guitar to upgrade to. I've been doing tons of research for weeks but after watching this and reading the never-ending positive comments, im going with the Seagull S6.

He is a happy man proud of making a quality product.

Just ordered a seagull s6 original and seeing how they're made with so much attention and passion jsut puts a smile on my face

This was awesome! I’m the proud owner of an S6! Can’t believe all the precision work that went into making it! Very cool to see a CEO who actually knows his product...

I only hope these guitars stay underrated until I buy two of everything

I visited the Larivee factory in Vancouver many years ago and this one has more jigs and technical equipment. I'm sure that helps with consistency and quality. Both great guitar makers, but Larivee moved down to California.
