I’d like a shirt that says “ this pit is loaded” 😂

Lice and bedbugs were common even then, so the nit combs make sense. Great work!

Greetings youngman. I live on the Flandreau Santee Sioux Rez in Flandreau, S.D., In my back yard is the site of Joseph Lafromboise trading post @1830s-40s. This was the first white post of any kind in the Dakotas. Take care and keep up your work its important!

I'm impressed with how you can stick a pole in the ground and hear that it is a place that you can dig in and find such wonderful treasures!  Thank you for taking us along Tom.

First chipmunk I’ve seen come out of one of your digs! How funny!🐿

I went to your old channel and ask if you were ok…they sent me here!   I don’t know why digging old bottles is so cool….but I enjoy it.
I am in mid 70’s.    When you say “this thing is old” I just laugh……

Tom you are such an inspirational young man in that you are a self taught historian,& archeologist,Thank you for being the good man you are & sharing all your knowledge with us!

Those delousing combs reveal what must have been numerous lice problems - very difficult to get rid of once in the hotel...

Okay. Now all I can think about is the poor little  chipmunk! I didn't realize they burrowed that deep!

whoa! 😂a hibernating chipmunk 🐿️ that’s cute 🥰👍🏻🤗

That blue ink bottle is beautiful

Poor chipmunk!  Early wake up call. Love how excited you get in these videos.

Now I'm worried about that Chipmonk. I hope you were able to relocate him nest material and all. I didn't realize how deep they tunneled.

Nice to see you didn't need scuba gear for a change!

In the southwest it wouldn't be chipmunks. It would be scorpions.

Didn’t realize chipmunks hibernated, but was clearly not awake.

I love the little cold cream container😀

Can’t believe you’re not getting the wagon wheel out, that to me is beyond age & time, priceless. Another great video & finds Tom😘

Tom, I'm glad you got clear of the problems on "Beneath the Plains" and you're cranking out the work like always.

75 years ago, I remember my great grandmother had a set of coffee/tea cups with no handles. She would pour the coffee in the saucer to cool off and sip it from the saucer. Apparently, from another source, I read in certain areas it was considered hospitable to serve a guest coffee that was already "saucered and blowed".
