I don't get it, you're adding dichromate into the gelatine solution? Or doing a layer of gelatine and then a layer of dichromate on top?

Very nice work David! What is your ratio between gelatine and dichromate?  And do you prime the gold first?

I wish i could convince photographers to drop the "alternative photography" terminology.  We all say "historical photo processes" because (obviously) they weren't alternative to anything when they were created.  They WERE photography.   And now that digital is here to stay, isn't film photography becoming "alternative" to the most dominant technology?

I accidentally found your movie when I was looking for information about another historical process. I would like to say that I am very impressed with your work. I'm working in gum bichromate, but I am looking for other photographic forms and techniques. I would like to ask you if you use gelatin or another medium to create the matrix. I wonder if gum arabic could be useful too. I'm most interested in how the dry pigment adheres to your matrix. I would be grateful for your response. Regards Rafał.
