Cornell University is NOT an isolated event so her misogyny is inexcusable.

Sunny is a total boy mom. We have seen her use the whole “I’m a former federal prosecutor…” line on cops when her own son was being a delinquent. I’m not surprised.

"just cuz i lent you 20 bucks does not make it okay for all your friends to come over and help themselves whatever else they find and want in my purse while im sleeping" like, TF?!

The way “I’m a federal prosecutor, he went to Harvard, he doesn’t have a criminal record, can’t we keep this off his record?” zooms straight past protecting your kid from police violence to making sure your precious baby never experiences a single consequence in his adult life…

Your response is fair. I have a son and a daughter.  We can't keep making excuses for boys.

"He's a Harvard grad." Therefore he should be capable of reading a no trespassing sign and using common sense. The look on his face was so smug, it actually made me angry.

when their best defense sounds like "she let me sleep on her couch for the night, but we had a four pack of wine coolers, so i called my friends and we emptied her apartment while she slept, its okay, i was allowed in and there was consentually drank drinks, so we're legally clear, she shouldn't have let me sleep on her couch that night if she didnt want to get group robbed"

She was literally making excuses for him before she even know what happened!

"He is a Harvard graduate"

Some of these comments are proving that people have no problem protect abusers,or being one themselves.

This is called enabling. This made think of the Nolan Wells case. One of the boys mom was a judge or a lawyer. Hence, the boys thought they could get away with it.

Why I think Sunny Hostin defends the Cornell 7, her son Fraternity: He became an initiate of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Incorporated in the spring of 2026.
If someone is intoxicated they cannot consent, just don’t assault people, where are the people protecting women?

The smug look on his face talking to the cops said "you can't sue me my mom's a lawyer" 😒 and as far as Sonny she definitely would be trying to ruin lives if he was god forbid smacked in the shit by a roaring train. Where were the authorities?!?!? She would scream.  🙄

I have two sons and I was offended that she took that stance.

The View, Sunny Houston, and most of the cast of the show have always been problematic and anti-woman, anti-Black woman, and dog whistles a lot of covert racist ideology. Sunny's comments track. She's unsafe to children and women.

One form of consent isn't consent for EVERYTHING! I can consent to kiss a guy and decline consent to other sexual acts. If someone is under the influence of drugs and alcohol, they can't give an informed, enthusiastic, yes!

Several years ago, I had a bone reconstruction surgery on my lower right arm. I was advised BEFORE and AFTER the surgery (along with my friend who was with me during surgery), to not conduct any important financial, business, or other decisions. They made sure that I understood that I wasn't and wouldn't be in the right frame of mind (from the anesthesia and pain medication) to make serious decisions! UGH.

So if women get consent from a man to party with alcohol and weed via text, and she starts drugging men and robbing them, she can't be held accountable? Is that how it works? He consented to party so what's the difference?

I don't know how other moms of boys aren't TERRIFIED of their son turning into a monster once they're out in the world. It's hard enough undoing the sexism & racism they learn at school while they still live at home. My husband says that I have a "swift sense of justice", and maybe other parents might think I come down too hard with my consequences for my son? But I think I enforce consequences the exact right amount to make a point & change his behavior. If the norm is being soft & letting behavior slide, then yeah, actual consequences look "authoritarian". Idgf. My 10 yr old son gets sweet treats & snuggles & surprise adventures. We have conversations about school & his friends & the effects of systemic oppression on society. A balanced, healthy relationship with my son INCLUDES swift consequences & boundary enforcement. Yes, it's difficult to always be the rock they rail against. But FAFO. I frequently tell him it's mine & his dad's job to prepare him for adulthood; how to function in society, how to move with integrity, how to take care of his mind & body. I wish other moms saw the disservice they're doing their sons by not teaching them right....

Interesting that in the LSU case, the rape of Kendall Francis, the rapist's mother called the victim and asked her not to press charges because it could ruin her son's football future. The rapists sent his victim $1000 as hush money. You are spot on about Hostin!

If anyone saw how she rolled up to her grown ass son’s arrest on body camera two months ago, peak boy mom energy. Smh

Boy moms scare me they will never beat the allegations😊
