How do I keep doing this

@SnaksiXD 9 months ago

The Gnorcs were named by the dragons when they couldn't decide whether or not to call them Gnomes or Orcs.

Who's here after the new Spyro game was announced? 😆

Spyro just becoming a sky lander and then basically disappearing from mainstream is sad but funny. Gotta love Spyro.

iirc, canonically in the first three (or at least in the first one), classic spyro was a child, due to the manual for spyro one stating he didn't get frozen because 1. he was too short (no relevance to age, i'm just stating this bc it's funny) and 2. he skipped school
and now rescuing all 80 of his uncles is on his tiny, little back. this little babyass dragon. go little dude go.

I’m glad that nobody accepts the skylanders version of Spyro. A big part of why I wanted skylanders was because I heard it had Spyro and then I find out they made him look like a pug

@DCJMS 9 months ago

I hope we talk about the young dragons being quadrupeds & the adult dragons being bipeds, which implies a horrifying & painful adolescence

It is weird that the sorceress only showed up once, but her mooks became the de facto mooks going forward.

As an OG fan of Spyro, I'm really glad to see it live on as fondly-remembered as it is. The PS1 had so many games due to the console's notorious "come one, come all" approach, that Spyro was always in danger of being forgotten like so many others on that machine. But no, he survived and thrived to be one of the Playstation's most beloved mascots :)

“One Spyro for each finger on my left hand” that’s actually crazy bc I do have that many fingers on my left hand. Love your videos man!

Choopo you genuinely have no idea how happy it makes me that you finally made a video about my favorite game ever. Thank you so much.

As far as connecting the different iterations of Spyro into a single narrative, I recall seeing a neat fan-theory that hypothesized that the first iteration of Spyro became corrupt from all the elements he had obtained and took on the identity of Malefor, which prompted the inevitable birth of the next purple dragon - that being the Legends Spyro. And at the end of the Legends trilogy, the world went on to become Skyland.

I thought it was a pretty cool idea.

I was onsessed with The Legend of Spyro trilogy as a kid.

the mid-late 2000s were very much the age of everything having like. Monster Energy vibes i think. by which i mean everything had to be Edgy and Cool but in a very sterile, corporate-approved way. and that ESPECIALLY applied to kids' media. seriously, they even tried it with the Looney Tunes and that's not a joke
