I appreciate you being understanding with the obviously controversial part of the song. He's not saying the advantage is using the N word. He's saying the advantage is that black rappers can use it as an artificial antagonist, which is why they can snap like this and talk shit when they want to flex. That's kind of the whole point of this song, actually. Lil Dicky loves that style of music, but he probably sat down to write some shit and realized he didn't have anyone to talk down to. If you're black and want to make a song like this, you just talk about the mythical N words you say you're better than, who nobody can actually identify. If you think about this too hard, it can literally destroy your love for some of the bangers you used to love and, well, that might just make it the hardest bar of all time.

Lil Dicky "Sports" isnt exactly serious... but it is seriously impressive

The problem is if he didn't take the lane he did he probably wouldn't be as well known as he is. Just like Eminem had to do Slim Shady even though he could rap without the shock value. Lil' Dicky had to do the comedy to be noticed and to stick out. That's just my opinion.

Lil dicky ft the game "how can you sleep"

Hey, I think Dicky was referencing how the word is almost used as a crutch sometimes. Like the word is sometimes used too often in a song/rap to where it's just watering it down and it begins to lose meaning or the word starts to become a filler word. I think that's what he means by it's a rapper's antagonist, because people fall back on using that word too much instead of coming up with something more clever. Just my take on what he meant

Actually his song "Professional Rapper" really breaks down his background history and goals very specifically.

🤣 lil Dickerson had me laid out!! 🔥🔥

Been waiting for this! Check out his track “How Can You Sleep” for more like this 🔥

Shoutout Jamal for the guest appearance lmao, he was feelin BBC

Appreciate this! More BBC that I KNOW you’ll rock with. Antagonist 2, How Can You Sleep ft. The Game, and Make Belief are a few off the top that he’s barrin heavy, talkin his shit. ✌️✌️

I have been an avid fan of Lil Dicky for almost 5 years now and I always love watching people fall in love with that man’s music. He is fire! Professional Rapper is definitely the next one because he really lays out his view on rap in that song and you get to see Dicky for who he is and it is fire as well
